I'm Tickled Pink to Breastfeed

In honor of Black Maternal Breastfeeding Week, DePaul's Infant Equity Education Program (DIEEP) and other various organizations, is hosting a casual evening reception for black expecting mothers to meet and greet local breastfeeding and maternal support organizations and leaders.

During the event, moms will receive educational materials regarding available local breastfeeding support services and resources by visiting vendor tables, as well as listening to presentations by local maternal and child health leaders. Charcuterie and bubbly refreshments will be served, and gifts will be handed out to everyone.    

The women of the Alpha Beta Omega Chapter, Inc. of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will serve as hostesses as part of a maternal health impact project.  

The event will be at Salon22, located at 2407 Bienville Street from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
