Rooted in Care, Growing in Strength: Celebrating Mothers

DePaul Community Health Centers proudly hosted Rooted in Care, Growing in Strength: Celebrating Mothers in partnership with Aetna Better Health and Help a Sister Out. 

The event brought together a powerful network of community organizations dedicated to supporting mothers, children, and families across our community through education, resources, and compassionate care.

Attendees received:

• Healthy New Orleans-style red beans and rice food bundles to help combat food insecurity
• Educational information from LOPA highlighting the importance of organ donation
• Family and nutrition resources from Louisiana Healthcare Connections and Crescent City Family Services
• Maternal health education, including information on mental health services, the DIEEP Healthy Start Program, the PUMP Act, and additional support available for mothers and families

DePaul leadership and team members were also onsite connecting directly with attendees, helping ensure families had access to meaningful resources and support services.
